OnBoard RC-Charger

The JetCat OnBoard RC-Charger keeps up to two receiver batteries charged or buffered from the turbine engine’s main supply battery. It is designed for compatible generator-equipped JetCat installations, where the engine generator maintains the main battery during operation and makes that power available to the receiver system.

How the OnBoard RC-Charger works

The charger connects to the engine’s four-pin Molex expansion connector and provides two independent, voltage- and current-regulated outputs. Each output connects directly to a receiver battery, helping maintain a stable charge level without combining the two receiver circuits.

The outputs are intended for 2S LiPo or 2S Li-Ion receiver batteries. Under suitable operating conditions, the system can reduce the need for external charging between flights while preserving two independently regulated receiver-battery feeds.

Compatibility and installation

Use the OnBoard RC-Charger only with a compatible JetCat generator-equipped engine and an approved power-system configuration. Charge all batteries before first use, observe connector polarity and follow the JetCat connection diagram carefully, especially at the balancing connectors.
