JetCat SPT15-RX Dual-Exhaust

The JetCat SPT15-RX Dual-Exhaust is a two-shaft turboprop engine for large propeller-driven model aircraft and specialist projects that require substantial shaft power. It combines a JetCat gas-turbine core with a mechanically independent power turbine and reduction gearbox, converting exhaust-gas energy into usable propeller speed.

Electronically controlled two-shaft design

The second shaft is driven by the gas flow from the core engine rather than by a direct mechanical connection to its rotor. A high-speed gearbox then reduces the shaft speed for the propeller. JetCat’s electronic control system monitors and regulates both the primary and secondary shaft, allowing the pilot to focus on flying while the engine management remains automatic.
